Software Engineer (SG)

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications that power mission-critical user experiences and backend services. You will work across the stack—from frontend interfaces to backend APIs and databases—bringing a product mindset, strong coding fundamentals, and a passion for building robust, maintainable systems.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features that directly impact our customers.

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end software solutions across frontend and backend systems

• Contribute to architectural decisions, system design reviews, and code quality initiatives

• Write clean, scalable, testable code and ensure robust documentation for ongoing maintainability

• Participate in product ideation and feedback cycles, with a user-centric mindset.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in both frontend and backend environments

• Integrate with APIs, databases, third-party services, and cloud infrastructure components

• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for deployed features (Sentry, Datadog, etc.).

• Investigate production issues and participate in on-call or incident response rotations.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and drive engineering best practices

• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, Marketing, and other business leads to deliver high-quality features and user experiences

• Build and support frameworks for experimentation, feature flags, and data-driven product development.

• At least 5 years of overall full-stack software development experience

• Solid experience with backend development using languages, ideally Python

• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular)

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL)

• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with trading platforms or financial systems is a big plus, but not a must
