About the team

Worldpay, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior in Cincinnati, OH to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients.

What you will be doing

The Software Engineer Senior will identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives.  Additionally, the role will:

• Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software.
• Train and communicate with clients on systems application.
• Understand requirements and break it down into logical technical pieces.
• Have a good eye for technical architecture, system design, end user interface and experience.
• Break down complex technical design into smaller technical elements.
• Assign and review work assigned to offshore technical resources.
• Analyze, design, build and test application in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.
• Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Participate in software design meetings and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Complete documentation for installation and maintenance.
• Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation:

• working with programming technologies including Java or .NET;
• utilizing SQL and Oracle databases;
• working with tools including Workbench, Salesforce Inspector, Postman, REST APIs, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD);
• implementing integration with Salesforce and migration to REST APIs using DocuSign;
• working with Program Increment model of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) development methodology;
• participating in Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions;
• developing common templates that enhance efficiency and consistency across various banking system in Adobe Acrobat.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
