About the role:
As a AffnityEdge Software Engineer you will work as a core EFT developer. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications.
What you will be doing:
• Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements using Unisys COBOL.
• Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
• Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
• Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.
What you will need:
• Knowledge of application development and quality management in banking or finance area.

• Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards.
• Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc.

• Experience supporting financial industry practices, regulations and operations.
• Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines.
• A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $101,480.00 - $170,470.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
