As a Senior Software Engineer at FIS, you’ll join a team of experienced professionals developing the Open Payment Framework Tools. Your main focus will be building and maintaining features of the OPF Visual Toolkit which enables clients to build payment solutions more efficiently, significantly reducing their implementation time and accelerating FIS’s delivery of tailored solutions. You’ll also help analyze and design new features, proactively solve technical challenges and ensure timely project execution. Motivation, experience and a desire to keep learning are key factors to success.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or the equivalent combination of education, training or work experience,
- Five years of experience as Java developer with proven knowledge of the Java SE 17 platform and design patterns,
- Proven experience with Eclipse IDE, XML processing and JUnit,
- Experience with Eclipse RCP or willingness to learn is a plus,
- Oracle, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, BitBucket, GIT and Maven knowledge will be a plus,
Other Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical audience,
- Good attention to detail, self-disciplined and motivated,
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage time and tasks,
- Very good English,
- Experience with the development of financial software applications is a plus.
