About the Role:

*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis, three times a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).*

Fubo is looking for exceptional Software Engineers with a passion for crafting simple systems that solve complex problems. You will be working on building the Fubo app on a brand new platform using React Native technologies. You will build testable/maintainable code bases using modern javascript tooling that are utilized by multiple platforms using web based technologies, including but not limited to Web and Smart TV platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop performant applications using React Native
• Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models
• Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application
• Architect, design, develop, test, maintain and improve software systems
• Collaborate with other engineers and members of the Fubo team to determine priorities and best practices, and refine functional requirements

All Fubo Software Engineers must have:

• 3+ years of experience in delivering working software, Preferably web / React Native applications
• Strong communication skills and be a positive team player with a solution-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with immutability concepts and responsive design
• Debugging experience and familiarity with performance optimization strategies
• Experience using Source Control (Git)
• Write clean, readable, reusable, well-tested code

The ideal candidate will also:

• Familiarity with streaming technologies (HLS/DASH streaming)
• Familiarity with design system components / shared packages
• Stay informed of emerging technological trends and methodologies and propose new processes and technologies to the team

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $140,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $185,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. This role may also be available to candidates outside of the New York City area. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
