About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Python, SQL, and Cloud platforms to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms. The role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data quality, and enabling analytics and downstream applications through reliable and efficient data engineering solutions.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL.
- Ingest data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, files, streaming systems) into data lakes and data warehouses.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms to implement and manage data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, data integrity, and performance optimization across pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application teams to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data processing jobs for reliability and scalability.
- Follow best practices for data security, governance, and compliance.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Strong hands-on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Excellent SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL frameworks.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed data processing concepts.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning.
- Around 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles.
