About the Role
We are seeking a Power Platform & Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade automation solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This role will focus on automating business processes, integrating systems, and improving operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with business and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and optimized solutions.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows using Power Automate
- Build and support low-code applications using Power Apps
- Integrate Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) with enterprise systems
- Develop REST API and webhook-based integrations
- Automate approval workflows and business processes
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize automation solutions for performance and reliability
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, authentication issues, and connector-related problems
- Support deployment, migration, and environment management activities
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and best practices
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement automation opportunities
What You Need to Be Successful
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in Power Platform and automation
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Power Automate
- Power Apps
- SharePoint Online, Teams, Outlook / Exchange Online
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Experience in system integration using:
- REST APIs, Webhooks
- JSON and data transformation
- Workflow orchestration and approval processes
- Knowledge of authentication and connectivity:
- OAuth fundamentals
- Microsoft Graph API exposure
- Azure App Registration basics
- Connector configuration, connection references, and troubleshooting
- Programming/scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar
- Strong SQL fundamentals
- Good troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills
- Familiarity with version control practices
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with Dataverse and Azure Logic Apps
- Exposure to Adaptive Cards and Power Platform administration
- Understanding of AI-powered automation tools
- Experience with tools like n8n, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Zapier, or Make
