We're looking for a proactive Software Engineer (PHP) to take ownership of payroll management system and contribute to impactful projects for the Lithuanian government. You'll work with the latest Symfony and PHP versions in a modern development environment. Experience with asynchronous processing is a plus, as well as a self-organized, collaborative mindset and a drive to take initiative.
In this role, you will
- Provide support for high availability and high load systems
- Design, develop and implement technical solutions based on business requirements
- Participate in all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
- Cover own implementation with unit tests
- Direct communication with the client
What you will bring
- 3+ years of experience with PHP and Symfony
- Experience working with relational databases (preferably MySQL/PostgreSQL)
- Good PHPUnit or other automatic tests technologies knowledge
- Docker knowledge
- A strong team-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach
- Eager to learn and grow
- Fluency in Lithuanian and English

Salary range: € 2500 - 4640 gross / month
