About the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, React, AWS, and modern cloud technologies to join our growing engineering team.
You'll play a key role in designing and building scalable applications, mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, and enhance scalable software solutions and system improvements.
- Build modern web applications using Python and React/Next.js.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design decisions.
- Build and support cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in an Agile environment.
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Strong experience with Python (Required)
- Experience with React and/or Next.js
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and Microservices
- Strong understanding of Software Architecture and System Design
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis/Valkey
- Hands-on experience with AWS, including:
- API Gateway
- Lambda
- EC2
- ECS
- S3
- Amazon SQS
- Amazon SES
- Experience with CircleCI and Serverless Framework
- Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and production support
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Distributed systems and cloud-native architecture
- Performance optimization and scalability
- Mentoring and technical leadership experience
- Automated testing and CI/CD best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

- Technical leadership and hands-on implementation of complex features and defects
- Troubleshooting production issues, root cause analysis, and incident response ownership
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy
- Establish and enforce coding standards, testing strategies, and TDD practices
- Design and maintain monitoring, observability, and alerting for production systems
- Conduct thorough code reviews and drive peer-review culture
- Performance optimization and scalability-focused development
- Identify, document, and remediate technical debt and system risks
- Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineers; provide career guidance
- Participate in hiring and candidate technical evaluations
- Provide technical estimations, sprint planning input, and follow agile practices
- Support release management, deployment risk assessment, rollback planning, and regression testing
- Client-facing technical communication, translating requirements into solutions
- Drive proof-of-concept development and technical feasibility assessments
