Job Summary
- Be part of a team that is entrusted with the development and maintenance of new MSIGHTS products that use the latest technologies available in the market to interact with data.
- As a member of the team, the position requires documentation and support of applications as well as commitment to deliver a product with the highest standards of quality, redundancy, and availability.
- This position requires a great capacity to innovate, take initiative, an ability to consistently deliver above expectation, a passion for continuous improvement, and a willingness to work hard and be rewarded.
- Using the latest Web technologies, work closely with the development team to enhance the MSIGHTS platform.
- The candidate is required to document, generate ideas, follow coding standards, and follow coding patterns.
- Using Agile and Scrum methodologies to deliver a plan and follow it to successfully release the applications.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience working on Full-Stack Web technologies.
- Must have working knowledge on web technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Ruby on rails, among others.
- Applied knowledge in Data Structure and development algorithms.
- Experience in web frameworks like Ember and bootstrap is desired.
- Additional technologies like REST Web services, Java, Python, SQL, or AWS Services are a plus.
- Must be a self-starter, willing to take the initiative and propose innovation in MSIGHTS products and/or processes.
- Strong communications skills - both written and verbal - and the ability to work well with internal teams.
- Must be detail-oriented, committed to quality, and client-focused, all while being flexible and entrepreneurial in a fast-paced international work environment.
- Exceptional project management, analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience applying these skills to resolve application design considerations and client use cases.
- Advance English skills in order to keep up a conversation.
- Educational attainment/equivalence to a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
