We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka to join our distributed engineering team. This is a fully remote position focused on building reliable, scalable microservices and data pipelines in a modern cloud environment.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Integrate and manage event-driven architecture with Apache Kafka.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality features.
Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust, scalable fixes.
Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
6+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
Proven experience working with Apache Kafka in production environments.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.
