We are looking for a software developer where you will develop, build, and maintain the internal platform services that empower engineers across the organization to work more efficiently. As part of this role, you will work on internal engineering tools and other tools that enable operations for the next generation of mobility while working on accelerating the development and deployment of novel engineering tools for which you will play a crucial role in the development, testing, and deployment of these tools working in partnership with our internal Machine Learning, Optimization, and Simulation teams
Build, scale, and maintain high-performance internal platform services and engineering tools that empower cross-functional teams to work more efficiently.
Develop Software that can solve messy problems at the intersection of low latency and high correctness
Create prototypes and production-ready tools to support rapid experimentation and internal operations.
Contribute to the design of new features and system enhancements from conceptualization to end deployment
Develop algorithms solving problems relating to engineering simulations, fleet management, and internal tooling
Develop robust deployment pipelines and packaging solutions to operationalize work from Machine Learning, Optimization, and Simulation teams.
Diagnose and resolve critical technical issues and system bottlenecks, identifying root causes
Conduct robust unit/integration testing strategies for developed code
Be a part of code reviews and provide feedback to ensure best practices
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Software development in C++/Rust/Python/Java
Development and understanding of Data structures and algorithms
Fundamentals of Systems Design
Experience working with databases and distributed systems, with an understanding of performance and reliability trade-offs
Understanding of concepts in memory management, messaging systems
Understanding of writing unit tests, and software testing
Preferred Qualifications
Foundational background in parallel programming concepts across CPU and GPU systems
Experience building and operating high-throughput, low-latency backend services
Experience with geospatial data, location-based services, or real-time data serving systems.
