Razer Gold aims to become the world’s leading payment service provider for games and digital content. As our business grows to meet the needs of gamers globally, we are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team and fulfil the needs of challenging product delivery plans.
As a Software Engineer Intern in Razer Gold, you will be an integral part of our Razer Gold Engineering team, working closely with experienced data professionals and business stakeholders. You will have the chance to develop your skills in software development, while also gaining valuable insights into the business world.
- Responsible for activities involved in the analysis, design, development, troubleshooting, debugging and maintenance of enterprise, high-volume, transactional systems.
- Work with other engineers and product management to develop effort estimates and plan implementation of products, based on requirements.
- Analyse and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
- Responsible for project branch maintenance and builds.
- Create technical specifications and test guidance.
- Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects.
- Working along with software developers to create and maintain a robust framework.
- Provide level 3 support and perform root cause analysis as required.
- Meetings and Collaboration: Participate in team meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
- Backend Development - Database design, SQL programming, performance optimization, REST APIs, etc.
- Software Testing & Automation - Unit Testing, Automated Testing, etc
- Web / Frontend Development - .NET Core, C#, MVC, Java SprintBoot, JavaScript, VueJS, NodeJs, REST APIs, etc.
- Documentation: Creating documentation for existing applications and writing guides to help others understand how to use the software
- Learning and Development: Improving your coding abilities by being introduced to new tools and programming languages.
Pre-Requisites :
- Degree in Computer Sciences / Software Engineering / Information Technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly motivated self-starter, detail, and quality oriented.
- Familiar with Web Application Development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of software development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and SQL.
