We are seeking a motivated and talented Software Engineer Intern to join our remote engineering team for the Fall 2026 term. As an intern, you will work on real-world projects that directly impact on our products. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gain exposure to cloud technologies, and make a meaningful impact in a real production setting.
To be qualified for the role:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, OOP).
- Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, .NET.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated interest in building scalable systems and real-world software applications.
- Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving, self-learning, and seeking clarification when needed.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

- Prior internship or project experience in software development.
- Experience with .net/C#
- Understanding of databases and SQL/NoSQL.
What you will be doing:
- Contributing to software development projects by working on assigned tickets and features.
- Assisting in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications within Availity’s platform.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participating in team meetings, code reviews, and releases.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and QA, to deliver high-quality features.
- Conducting unit and integration testing to ensure software reliability and performance.
