We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer Intern to join our runtime software team. This role focuses on building modern visualization tools for autonomous driving systems. You will also work closely with product and marketing teams to showcase our technology and support product marketing for a greater audience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality modern visualization application for autonomous driving systems to provide clear, intuitive insights into system performance and system capabilities.
- Work with design, product and marketing team to create product marketing materials as needed for internal and external demos.
- Enhance rendering performance and optimize rendering pipelines for various hardware configurations.
- Explore advanced physics, lighting, and real-time rendering frameworks and capabilities to create immersive and high-quality visualizations (e.g. UE, CARLA).
- Explore potential extensions of existing tools and applications for sensor simulation capabilities.
Required Skills:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in C, C++
- Passion for creating intuitive and visually engaging UI and visualization
- Strong robotics background, and familiarity with the tech stacks (e.g., ROS, AutoWare)
- Experience with graphics APIs such as OpenGL, OSG and WebGL
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine (UE), CARLA, or other platforms.
- Experience with computer graphics, data visualization or video rendering.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and cloud-based toolchains.
