The Role
About the Role
  • Own small-to-medium integration projects from discovery to deployment, partnering with Product, clients, and Implementation to ship pragmatic solutions.

  • Debug and resolve issues autonomously, escalating only when truly blocked.

  • Communicate progress and blockers early and often—through tickets, stand-ups, and async updates—to give the team and stakeholders total visibility.

  • Review peers’ pull requests, uphold our coding standards, and share knowledge to elevate overall code quality.

  • Spot friction in day-to-day workflows and propose concrete process or tooling improvements that keep us moving fast.

About the Team
  • A fast-moving Integration squad connecting banking COREs and LOSs to Clutch’s platform.

  • Success hinges less on raw code complexity and more on understanding product context, making sound trade-offs, and coordinating with multiple parties.

  • We collaborate closely with Product, clients, and other engineering teams to deliver production-ready integrations quickly.

  • Transparency and balanced workload are core values: everyone is expected to surface blockers early and help redistribute work when needed.

  • We champion autonomy—engineers are trusted to take initiative, switch contexts effectively, and push changes all the way to production.

What You’ll Do

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Independently debug issues and identify root causes.

  • Pair with other engineers to gain context and contribute to smaller tasks.

  • Learn the core systems we integrate with and how they impact our product.

  • Ask questions and challenge requirements to clarify scope before starting work.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Proactively communicate progress and surface blockers early.

  • Confidently shift between integration contexts and understand tradeoffs.

  • Support partners through successful go-lives.

  • Manage scope and push back when requirements are unclear or misaligned.

  • Contribute thoughtful code reviews and help maintain simple and extensible code quality.

Within 9 months, you will:

  • Lead and deliver a small-scoped project independently.

  • Build trust with external stakeholders by communicating technical constraints effectively.

  • Suggest and drive improvements to team processes and workflows.
