About the role

We’re looking for our first engineer focused on infrastructure to start and lead Infra at Amperos. You’ll get to own dev ops, dev experience, compliance, observability, monitoring for our AWS stack. You’ll get to work on new challenges that come with AI infrastructure. You’ll have the opportunity to shape and lead this team as we grow and specialize within this team.

What you’ll do

  • Set up Amperos infrastructure to support the next wave of growth

  • Maintain & improve AWS infra, increase dev velocity, and build reusable engineering rails

  • Build systems that help us build AI features faster and improve LLM observability

  • Reduce AWS spend and build better observability on infra costs

Who we’re looking for

  • 5+ years of experience working on/leading infrastructure teams at top companies

  • Able to identify highest ROI engineering infra issues from day one and build a roadmap to improve our engineering infrastructure

  • Able to lead engineering discussions effectively and articulate the impact of infra initiatives

  • Willing to wear different hats and do whatever is necessary. No task is beneath us.

  • High agency. You don’t need much instruction to create results. You pride yourself on being able to just figure things out.

  • Great communicator both verbally and written. You proactively push necessary information to the team rather than the team needing to pull info from you.

  • Excited to build in an industry that is underserved by technology and immerse themselves in the world of healthcare billing and revenue cycle management
