Role Overview:
PDI is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer III / Salesforce Administrator to join the Business Systems team. This senior-level role will be responsible for architecting, developing, administering, and optimizing scalable Salesforce solutions that support business-critical operations across Sales, Service, Marketing, and integrated enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring advanced expertise in Salesforce platform development, administration, automation, integrations, governance, user enablement, and business continuity support, including participation in an after-hours/on-call rotation as needed. This role may also support integrated .NET applications and automated NetSuite billing processes that require troubleshooting, production support, and cross-system issue resolution. The successful candidate will serve as a technical mentor and strategic partner to stakeholders across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and related platforms.
    • Serve as a senior Salesforce administrator responsible for security models, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchies, sharing rules, queues, public groups, and data governance.
    • Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Visualforce pages, integrations, and APIs.
    • Architect and optimize Salesforce automation using Flow Builder, Process Automation, validation rules, approval processes, and workflow best practices.
    • Lead complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms including ERP, marketing automation, data warehouses, and third-party SaaS applications.
    • Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, debugging, and production support for Salesforce applications and integrations.
    • Partner with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements, define solutions, estimate effort, and prioritize enhancements.
    • Participate in business continuity support, including after-hours/on-call rotation responsibilities for Priority 1 issues, access/password escalations, production incidents, and urgent Salesforce or integration support needs.
    • Support and troubleshoot integrated .NET applications, services, and automation jobs that interact with Salesforce, NetSuite, billing processes, and other enterprise business systems.
    • Provide production support for automated NetSuite billing integrations, including issue triage, root cause analysis, remediation, validation, and documentation of recurring support procedures.
    • Drive Salesforce release management activities including deployments, sandbox management, DevOps processes, and CI/CD best practices.
    • Maintain data quality standards including deduplication, governance, data imports/exports, and audit compliance.
    • Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, coding best practices, and platform governance policies.
    • Monitor platform performance, storage usage, security compliance, and proactively recommend system improvements.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, process flows, support documentation, and training materials.
    • Support enterprise initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, process optimization, and digital transformation programs.

Qualifications

    • 5+ years of Salesforce development and administration experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Salesforce Administrator certification required.
    • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II preferred.
    • Additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator, App Builder, Service Cloud Consultant, or Integration Architect are highly preferred.
    • Strong experience with Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
    • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow, declarative automation, and platform configuration.
    • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or event-driven architectures.
    • Experience with .NET application support, C#, SQL Server, scheduled jobs, or enterprise integration services preferred.
    • Experience supporting NetSuite billing processes, ERP integrations, or finance-related automation strongly preferred.
    • Ability and willingness to participate in an after-hours/on-call support rotation for business-critical systems, subject to applicable local employment requirements and team coverage model.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, governance, sharing models, and compliance best practices.
    • Experience with DevOps tools, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
    • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with NetSuite, ERP integrations, or enterprise business systems.
    • Experience maintaining or troubleshooting .NET-based business applications, especially those supporting billing, finance, or automated integration processes.
    • Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud.
    • Experience with Data Loader, Workbench, Copado, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps tools.
    • Understanding of enterprise architecture, scalability, and cloud-based integration patterns.
    • Experience supporting global business operations and cross-functional business process optimization.
