Position: Software Engineer III, Analytics Developer
Job Location: 702 SW 8th Street, Bentonville, AR 72712
Duties: Works with a small team to design and build software applications to function across multiple platforms. Produces front-end code and visual components to create a polished and highly functional user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design. Collaborates with our business analysts and the product manager to clarify requirements, determine user needs, adapt programming accordingly and solicit feedback on the system. Ensures software operates ideally across a range of programs and platforms with the goal of creating a streamlined design and a pleasant but visually simple user interface. Conducts thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly, incorporating feedback from actual potential users as well as members of the design team. Solves any design or usability issues that arise and anticipates potential future problems so they can be resolved before they impact users.
Minimum education and experience required: 3 years of data analytics, computer science, or information technology experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: developing web page applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript; writing reusable components in React with ES6 feature; maintaining global state with Redux; realizing dynamic routing and location transition with React Router; using control systems (Git) to develop code and for version control; using Kubernetes for automating deployment, scaling, and management; working with Agile Methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence; connecting web services with REST API; conducting unit test with Jest to meet coverage of testing codes; synchronously checking API status and manipulating API with Postman; handling tickets submitted with ServiceNow. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.
