Your Mission
Design and deliver prototype software applications that solve real-world problems through innovative development and data visualization. Work directly with users to understand mission needs and build tools—primarily front-end solutions using Splunk and modern frameworks—that enhance decision-making and analytic capabilities. Collaborate in a fast-paced, integrated environment where creativity, technical skill, and adaptability are key to success.
You Will Excel If You Are:
- A creative, jack-of-all-trades developer with a strong front-end focus
- Experienced in supporting cybersecurity operations with practical software solutions
- Proficient in Python and Splunk for analytic presentation
- Eager to collaborate in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable mentoring others while also learning from your team
A Day in the Life Of:
- Build and prototype software to support defensive cybersecurity efforts
- Engage directly with customers and cyber analysts to translate needs into solutions
- Create front-end dashboards and visualizations using Splunk and modern JS frameworks
- Collaborate with other developers, share ideas, and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Optionally support the Data Science team with technical contributions
Must Have:
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or High school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience (with in-depth related experience)
- Experience in:
- Cybersecurity support
- Python development
- Splunk
- Front-end frameworks (AngularJS, ReactJS, etc.)
- GitLab
- Atlassian Jira
Nice to Have:
- Experience interfacing with RESTful APIs
- JavaScript and Bash scripting
- Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes/Rancher
- Apache Airflow
- Familiarity with Data Science or Machine Learning
