Software Engineer II

This position is a hybrid role requiring employees to work from our headquarters location in Seattle, WA every Tuesday and Wednesday, and remote all other days.

As a full stack Software Developer II at Redfin, you will contribute to the development of data-driven features and experiments for your team’s products. You'll build products that drive some of the company's most critical metrics and impact revenue growth. We are helping create the best possible home buying or selling experience, one feature at a time.

The Role

• As a Software Engineer II, you will primarily work on our One-Stop-Shop strategy, closely integrating our title and mortgage companies to the brokerage.
• You’ll have an opportunity to contribute to Redfin’s Sales Center Support Queue, a smart queueing system that ensures Redfin customers get the right help at the right time
• You'll have an opportunity to contribute to our AI virtual assistant, Ask Redfin, as we explore how to improve its capabilities and expand to more use cases
• You’ll work closely with our product, program and ops partners to deliver features on-time and with high quality.
• You’ll focus on writing code, tests and documenting features, occasionally leading small and medium sized projects.

About You

• You are a developer with 2+ years of experience developing full-stack, customer-facing applications.
• You keep up with the ever-changing landscape of providing delightful User Interfaces - we use React.
• You have experience being part of a team developing large scale apps backed by relational databases - we use Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Postgres.
• You’re curious and a life-long learner: you’re willing to take risks and champion new ideas.
• Maybe you already have some genAI ideas for the real estate world?
• You are excited to grow your technical and project leadership skills.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.

Base Pay Range: $121,900.00 - 165,100.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
