Description for Internal Candidates    
As a Software Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that support our business objectives and drive innovation. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products that meet customer needs and enhance operational efficiency.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•    As an SRE- you will design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems to meet business requirements.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, quality assurance, and operations to deliver high-quality software solutions.
•    Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and resolve software defects, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
 

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
•    3 years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle.
•    3 years in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python, with experience in developing scalable and maintainable software solutions and Core cloud (Azure, GCP, Alibaba), Kubernetes, Ansible, Python, Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, CICD skills.
•   2 years' experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
