We are looking for a passionate and experienced Python Developer with hands-on experience in AI / Generative AI technologies to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for engineers who can independently build production-grade backend systems while actively working with LLMs, AI APIs, and modern GenAI tooling.
You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, contributing to backend services and data pipelines while actively exploring how Generative AI capabilities can be integrated into real products. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy ownership, continuous learning, and working at the intersection of backend engineering and emerging AI technologies.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Build and integrate features powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar)
Design and implement prompt engineering strategies, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, and agentic workflows
Work with vector databases and embeddings (e.g., Opensearch, Qdrant, Pinecone, or similar) to power search and retrieval use cases.
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, and participate in regular code reviews.
Own data processing, automation scripts, and integration pipelines end-to-end
Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive performance and reliability improvements.
Stay curious and proactively evaluate and adopt new AI/GenAI tools, frameworks, and best practices
Document technical work clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Show initiative in exploring and adopting AI / Generative AI tools and technologies (e.g., LLMs, APIs, AI services) where they can add real business value
- Collaborate with the team on architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical documentation
- Continuously identify technical inefficiencies and proactively suggest improvements.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development, with Python as a primary language
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Hands-on experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, or similar) in production or side projects
Practical experience with prompt engineering, embeddings, and RAG-based architecture
Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
Experience writing automated unit tests and ensuring code quality
Strong experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
