Software Engineer II, Fullstack

Join the Member Intelligence Squad, a dynamic team focused on empowering Daves to deliver exceptional customer experiences. We're responsible for a range of critical systems, including internal dashboard tools, and integrations with external tools, such as Zendesk. Beyond these core systems, we also manage and develop our customer-facing chatbot powered by AI and IVR solutions, constantly exploring new ways to enhance customer interaction. What You’ll Do:       

• Full stack web/mobile application development in Javascript and Typescript

• Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React & React Native

• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services

• Deliver high-quality code, including balanced unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

• Regularly participate in code reviews and other team functions

What You’ll Need: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• 3+ years of experience in software development

• Strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to work as part of a team

• Strong experience in React and TypeScript

• Experience with the Dave Tech Stack is a plus: MySQL, Google Cloud Platform

• Experience programming in one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: JavaScript, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go

• Effective communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to give and receive constructive feedback

• The ability to discuss and explain system architecture and component design
