In this Software Engineer II role within our Medical Imaging division in Bangalore, India, you will design, build, and enhance software solutions that power endpoint data collection and analysis for life‑changing therapies. What You’ll Be Doing
Design, develop, and improve software applications using C# and .NET to support medical imaging and endpoint data solutions
Gather and evaluate user and business requirements in collaboration with product managers, scientists, and other stakeholders
Translate functional concepts into technical designs, workflows, and system interactions that balance usability, performance, and scalability
Implement enhancements and new features, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and regulatory expectations
Participate in internal and external user testing to validate functionality, iterate on solutions, and incorporate feedback
Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including design artifacts, user feedback, and implementation notes
Support intuitive user interaction and effective data visualization by collaborating closely with UI/UX and product teams
Act as an advocate for high‑quality user experiences while ensuring designs translate effectively into robust, maintainable code
Working with the team to implement and verify proposed improvements
Collaborating directly with clients to clarify requirements and ensure a positive experience
Analyzing existing interfaces and workflows and proposing improvements based on usage patterns
Maintain quality service and departmental standards by adhering to SOPs and supporting the establishment and enforcement of engineering best practices
Contribute to team success by resolving issues, sharing knowledge, exploring process improvements, and supporting colleagues
Stay current with software engineering trends, tools, and industry practices relevant to medical imaging and clinical research systems
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET
Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments
Working knowledge of GitHub Copilot and modern development workflows
Basic proficiency in SQL and Python
Understanding of how design systems and user experiences translate into production code
Strong problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across technical and non‑technical teams
Experience with enterprise software solutions or regulated environments is a plus
Ability to work independently and within a team, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a professional, positive attitude
