Shape the future of AI — with HCL! As an AI Tutor - HCL, you’ll use your infrastructure-as-code expertise to improve AI-generated configurations and ensure they align with HCL’s declarative syntax, modularity, and provisioning standards.
Your Day to DayReview HCL code for syntax correctness, reusability, and idiomatic use of blocks and expressions.
Solve infrastructure automation and provisioning tasks using HCL and explain your process.
Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear configuration logic.
Summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely.
Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills.
Expertise in HCL: variable declarations, modules, conditionals, provider configuration, and state management (e.g., Terraform).
3–5 years of experience using HCL with tools like Terraform, Nomad, or Vault is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science, DevOps, or related field. Master’s or PhD preferred.
Deep interest in AI, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud-native architectures.

Exact compensation varies based on a variety of factors, including skills and competencies, experience, and geographical location.
This is a freelance position compensated on an hourly basis. Please note that this is not an internship opportunity. Candidates must be authorized to work in their country of residence, and we do not offer sponsorship for this 1099 contract role. International students on a valid visa may be eligible to apply; however, specific circumstances should be discussed with a tax or immigration advisor. We are unable to provide employment documentation at this time. Compensation rates may vary for non-US locations.
