Position Description
Come help make the world a cleaner, safer place with us at Dakota! In the role of a software engineer you will
directly impact the next generation environment health and safety (EHS) platform we’re building at Dakota.
This role will help design and build our software tools to build and maintain EHS regulatory data systems.
Key Responsibilities
● Create the design, implementation, and testing of front-end and back-end features to provide, consume
and display data.
● Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end systems and experiences.
● Iterate on designs and features to deliver our customers a world class experience.
● Write and maintain unit and automated integration tests.
Requirements
● A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other related field from an accredited U.S.
University or the foreign equivalent.
● An understanding and desire to work with large datasets and a proficiency with designing, writing and
optimizing SQL queries.
● Programming knowledge and abilities using high-level, object-oriented language such as C# (.NET
core).
● Excellent problem solving through analysis, reasoning, communication, and coding skills.
● Understanding of one or more of these web technologies: React, Angular, and/or Blazor.
● Passion for creating, developing, and delivering exceptional user experiences and working with internal
users.
● Experience building desktop applications and web applications.
Preferred Requirements
● EST or CST time zones.
● Azure DevOps knowledge and experience.
● Azure web technologies including AKS.
● Experience with SQL Server and Postgres.
