Job Description: Designing, building, and maintaining a high-performance graphics rendering and editing system for the browser in C++ using tools like WebAssembly and WebGL. Extending a modern web user-interface using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
What you will do:
- Work with a team of designers and other engineers to design and implement the user interface for new features in a web application.
- Create UI components using standard web technologies and frameworks (e.g. HTML, CSS, JS, React).
- Build tools using C++ and WebAssembly that enable high-performance rendering in the browser and integrate them with an existing web application.
- Communicate with backend developers to integrate and synchronize API endpoints with frontend features.
- Ensure performance and stability of the web application across various browsers and platforms.
Qualifications (Required):
- 2+ years of frontend web development experience in a professional environment.
- 2+ years of object-oriented programming experience with a language like C++, C#, or Rust.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of modern web development technologies and frameworks.
- A passion for user-interface development of any kind.
Qualifications (It’s a plus):
- Experience with WebAssembly.
- Experience working with graphical editors.
- Knowledge of WebGL/OpenGL
- Knowledge of shader programming (GLSL, HLSL)
- Knowledge of design patterns and software architecture specific to web applications.
