With over 4,000 employees, Kitopi currently operates 200+ locations across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Qatar, and runs its engineering hub in Krakow, Poland, its robotics hub in Denmark, and its global customer experience center in Dubai, UAE.
We are looking for engineers with at least 2 years of experience with commercial software development in the Typescript and React ecosystem at the same time understanding the business needs, to be able to create simple and sustainable software solutions for complex problems.
The ideal candidate:
- has at least 2 years of experience working with commercial software development
- is a problem solver, whose solution toolkit is wide and not limited to only code
- is a strong communicator, levering direct communication for ultimate efficiency
- has a deep sense of ownership, can own a problem, lead discovery and deliver solutions
- can work autonomously, but is also an effective team player
- feels accountable for the deliverables
- can define the trade-offs and justify the effort
- has practical experience in applying agile methodologies
- Is on grow path towards T-shaped specialist or Product Engineer
Apply if you have solid experience with:
- ES2015 or newer
- Typescript
- React, Redux, React Testing Library, Styled Components or CSS Modules,
- integrating frontend with backend using REST/JSON,
- proposing visual solutions for given problems using HTML&CSS mockups (basics)
- methodologies and tools supporting the quality of developed software (tests, code reviews, CI/CD)
- diagnosing and solving production issues
- good command of written and spoken English (B2+)
- ReactQuery
- E2E testing with Playwright
- Tools and platforms supporting software development (Gitlab CI/CD)

Recruitment Process and Timeline
First, you apply and let our recruiters review your profile. After reviewing, you will receive a link to book a meeting with a recruiter at your convenience to share more about yourself and for us to get to know you better. If you have been shortlisted, you will have the opportunity to meet our hiring managers. Depending on the scope of the role and the function, you may need to attend 2-3 rounds (which might include case study, role-play, trial, or live coding - this will be communicated to you in the initial conversation).
