The Software Engineer will be a key member of our IT support team, responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business applications and automation solutions using SharePoint Online (SPO) and Power Platform. This role is focused on empowering our organizational customers by transforming manual processes into efficient, data-driven digital workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a mix of experience in traditional application development (JavaScript, JSON, and React), Power Platform, business analysis acumen, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesEngaging in technical design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise-level solutions and bug fixes.
Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly, low-code/no-code solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven apps).
Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed applications and workflows, including troubleshooting and user support.
Assist with development of documentation and provide training to end-users and citizen developers to encourage platform adoption and best practices.
Build and manage automated workflows using Power Automate to connect data sources, streamline approvals, and reduce manual effort.
Create and manage data models and entities within Microsoft Dataverse.
Develop and integrate Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights from application data.
Participating in agile development teams to design, develop, test, and deliver business solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field OR 4+ years of equivalent experience.
Familiarity with basic scripting or expressions (e.g., JavaScript, or JSON).
2+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
Experience using Power Fx beyond basic formulas (e.g., collections, variables, performance considerations.
Familiarity with creating Power BI semantic models and optimized DAX.
Proficiency in working with data, including connecting to data sources, data modeling, and creating reports.
Strong understanding Microsoft’s 365 ecosystem, particularly SharePoint Online.
