The Role

The DevSecOps team, part of the Software Engineering Services function, is looking for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with extensive experience in secrets management and public key infrastructure (PKI).

As a Software Engineer in our SES function, you will explore, learn, recommend and adopt technologies depending on the problem at hand. You will take a user centric approach to all design and decision-making processes, and have the ability to work with a high level of trust, autonomy and agility.

Key responsibilities:

  • Roll out of modern secrets management, certificates and zero trust technologies using Hashicorp Vault and/or other similar technologies
  • Working with stakeholders to understand business challenges and pain points
  • Collaborating with engineering stakeholders to help solve complex problems within Hashicorp Vault and/or other similar technologies

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong domain knowledge of HashiCorp Vault and/or other similar technologies
  • Process automation and configuration management experience (Terraform, Jenkins and Ansible)
  • Strong software engineering skills and proficiency in python and/or C#
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or similar
  • The ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience of any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Platforms: Kubernetes, OpenStack, Linux
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Ansible / AWX, Terraform
  • IAM/Secrets/PKI Technologies: HashiCorp Vault, KeyFactor, CyberArk, FIDO
  • IAM Domains: JML, MFA, AuthN/AuthZ, PKI, PIM
  • Cloud providers: AWS, Azure
