Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the development of key Timely app enhancements and features across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring high-quality code and design.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and School Success teams to evaluate solutions, define well-scoped stories, and prioritize impactful work.
Participate actively in standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos. Identify dependencies, blockers, and opportunities for process improvements.
Enhance app performance, address technical debt, and prioritize security and maintainability.
Contribute to improving development processes and cross-team communication.
Engage with customers and internal teams to understand user needs and test potential solutions.
Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure a seamless scheduling experience. Some limited on-call responsibilities may apply.
2+ years of experience in full-stack development, preferably using React (frontend) and Python (backend). Experience with MongoDB is a plus.
Experience implementing unit and integration tests for complex web applications; familiarity with TDD (Test-Driven Development) is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
Commitment to continuous improvement: seeking out and welcoming pairing, task delegation, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
Experience with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins); familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest or Pytest.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, taking ownership of projects and adapting to evolving priorities.
Experience in accessibility, security, and privacy best practices is a plus.
