Job Description
Role: Software Engineer (Core Java + SQL)
Experience: 4-6 Years
Location: East Windsor, NJ (Hybrid)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining backend services, resolving technical issues, and contributing to development efforts. This role requires hands-on experience with Tomcat and Maven for building and managing Java applications, along with working on key client projects, including but not limited to Molina Healthcare and other key clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Java and Spring-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, and support) to ensure smooth application functionality.
- Support production environments by identifying and resolving critical issues.
- Document technical processes, configuration steps, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Act as a key technical resource for client-specific deployments, ensuring all requirements are met.
- When required, contribute to active development tasks or defect fixes.
Mandatory Skills:
- Java (Core and Advanced)
- Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
- Tomcat (Application Server management)
- Maven (Build and Dependency Management)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in the healthcare domain.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.).
- Strong understanding of application monitoring and logging tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and data troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across both development and deployment responsibilities.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and directly with clients when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
