What You Will Do:
Design, write, and debug code in C++ for running on desktop operating systems.
Plan projects prior to writing code.
Use Agile Scrum methodology for software development.
Conform to software development best practices and the practices and policies laid out by HARMAN Technology Group.
Provide input for documentation of new or existing programs.
Perform technical research, monitors current trends and changes in technology.
Interface with all departments within the company.
Perform related duties as assigned.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or related field.
Must have at least 5 years of development experience using C++.
Must have at least 3 years of development experience on Windows.
Have previously worked on large scale desktop applications.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Must be a consummate professional with the ability to handle confidential information.
Must be comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization.
Must be willing to communicate with global teams.
Bonus Points if You Have:
Experience developing applications in Qt.
Understanding of TCP/IP networking.
Understanding of OpenGL, especially 2D.
Familiar with relational databases and SQL queries.
Familiar with performance profilers.
Have an understanding of basic audio concepts.
Good presentation skills.

Willingness to travel up to 5%.
Willingness to work in an office in Budapest, Hungary.
