Responsibilities
- Design and build simulation engines for trading teams
- Improve trading simulation accuracy compared with production results
- Optimize compilation and run time efficiency for trading simulation
- Creating tools to analyze data for patterns
- Build trading simulation with both historical and live market data
- Design various simulation frameworks required by complex trading strategy setup
- Support trading teams’ simulation research on a daily basis
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, engineering, or a related field
- 0-8 years of experience in software development (within the financial industry is a plus)
- A strong background in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++
- Knowledge of other development languages, including Python, Bash or Shell scripts
- Working knowledge of Linux
- Strong analytical, quantitative, mathematical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
