As a Software Engineer focused on CMake and C++ productivity, you will work on build system optimization, bringing the safety and productivity improvements that CMake and C++ developers deserve. You will help build and enhance core features of EngFlow’s platform, contributing to remote caching, remote execution, and advanced compiler engineering techniques.

You will be working alongside some of the engineers who built Bazel, contributing to high-impact open-source projects, solving scalability challenges, and improving performance at scale.

Requirements
  • C++ & CMake Expertise: Deep knowledge of C++, modern target-based CMake, sanitizers, Clang-tidy, remote debugging, and cross-platform builds.
  • DevTools Development Passion: Strong interest in developing devtools that improve developer productivity and safety.
  • Compiler Engineering: Experience in writing algorithms for code scanning and refactoring, especially for C++ and CMakeLists, using tools like libclang.
  • Linux/Unix & Cross-Platform Experience: Strong experience with Linux and Unix, and knowledge of Windows development for cross-platform compatibility.
  • Cloud Expertise: Experience with at least one cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenShift, Oracle Cloud).
  • Software Delivery at Scale: Experience with delivering software at scale, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Conference & Community Engagement: Willingness to contribute to the community by submitting talks to developer conferences and participating in ISO C++ Meetings.
  • On-Call Rotation: Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation for escalated production issues.
