Job Description
Being part of PGD is an opportunity for professional growth, upskilling, and team building to rock the media globe.
At PGD, as a Software Engineer (SE) you will be responsible for completing back-end tasks and providing support to web applications. The SE is able to work independently in basic tasks, assuming ownership for the design and programming required. For more complex work, this individual will rely on existing designs and seek guidance from more senior positions. The SE should also be able to provide reasonable estimates for tasks.
An SE works with web applications and a variety of back - end technologies specially .NET and is comfortable with content management systems and e-commerce platforms.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
- Between 1 and 2 years’ software development experience

Work experience designing and developing web applications using technologies such as .NET

Familiarity with enterprise software (e.g. Oracle, IBM, etc.) and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
- English level B2 or higher
Additional Information
Key Skills
● Fluency in modern programming languages such as .NET (Mandatory), JavaScript ,PHP, Ruby, Python, or Java (Optional)
● Capable of implementing simple functional requirements with minimal oversight
● Capable of debugging or troubleshooting software applications
● Familiarity with new technologies and emerging techniques in programming
● Familiarity with web services
