What you’ll doResponsibilities- Develop scalable computer systems that manage a large volume of information and use them to fulfill business goals for the company and its partners.
- Improve backend scalability and performance by integrating lightweight backend framework, overhauling APIs and optimizing database systems.
- Design and build tools that ingest and process signals from various sources to make them more accessible for the company’s partner teams.
- Design and implement logging and data visualization system for backend APIs.
- Diagnose and resolve software issues reported from production, automated testing, QA testing and customers.
- Design and implement scalable and reliable automated testing suites to reduce manual Quality Assurance tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and streamlined software development and deployment processes with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines.
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus six (6) years of software development experience.
Must also have four (4) years of experience in each of the following:
- Building software solutions in Java, C++, Python, or Ruby;
- Designing, building and maintaining scalable systems;
- Translating business needs into software requirements and designs;
- Debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack;
- Distributed systems; and
- Design and implementation of scalable high-performance RESTful microservices.
Salary: $206,086 - $285,600/yr
This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions / sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.
40 hrs/week
50% Telecommuting permitted.
