We are seeking a talented Middle/Senior Software Engineer to join the Innovation Team to work with us on an exciting new project - Automated Sports Highlights. Are you ready for this exciting journey?
THE CHALLENGE:
As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that stem from innovative concepts and drive the evolution of a new range of products, shaping the future of our company. In recent years, Sportradar's product launches, hiring efforts, and industry recognition have clearly positioned us as a leader in leveraging AI and Computer vision technologies to drive innovation in sports data and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable AWS-based applications, including backend services, data processing pipelines for our Computer vision solutions, machine learning model training infrastructure, and API endpoints.
- Analyze business requirements and design new functionalities, breaking down complex and abstract requirements into smaller concrete components that will help the team deliver quickly and efficiently
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing software solutions
- Participate in Pull/Merge Request reviews
- Be a trusted member of your team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration and best practices in the software development lifecycle
YOUR PROFILE:
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Open-minded and proactive attitude in pushing things forward and removing blockers by effectively coordinating with cross-functional teams
- 4+ years of experience working as a Software Engineer, with a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility
- Strong experience working with AWS and building applications in this environment
- In-depth understanding of containerization technologies and their deployment
- Experience working with Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Expertise in Python, with additional experience in other programming languages considered a plus
- Experience in developing and maintaining web APIs using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, gRPC, or AsyncAPI
- Proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines for software release lifecycle
- Knowledge of the lifecycle of ML/DL applications
