We need an experienced developer who will use their passion to guide a development team to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. This is an opportunity to resolve problems in mission-critical tools by collaborating with a development team to build applications and tools with a user-centric design.
On our team, you’ll coordinate front end and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With mentoring, positive code reviews, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:
- 8+ years of experience in UI/UX development
- Experience in HTML5, CSS3, Typescript, and React
- Knowledge of backend technologies and RESTful APIs
- Ability to design and develop responsive, accessible, and visually compelling user interfaces
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and 5+ years of experience in software engineering, or 8+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of a degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Experience collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to translate requirements into functional UI/UX solutions
- Experience ensuring consistency in design patterns and maintaining design systems
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
