Role: Software Engineer – AI, APIs & Cloud (Product Engineer)
Location: Singapore
We are partnering with a leading organisation to hire a Software Engineer – AI, APIs & Cloud (Product Engineer) with 8+ years of software engineering experience to design, build, and deliver innovative digital products, MVPs, and production-ready solutions. The role focuses on API platforms, Agentic AI, telecom network APIs, digital trust, and cloud-native applications.
You will work closely with product, engineering, DevSecOps, security, and external partners to rapidly transform business ideas into scalable products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Engineering
Design, develop, and deliver MVPs from concept to production.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Own the end-to-end development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Build reusable components and accelerate product commercialization.
API & Backend Development
Develop secure REST APIs, microservices, and backend services using Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
Integrate enterprise platforms, cloud services, and partner APIs.
Develop solutions leveraging OpenAPI, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patterns.
Agentic AI & Digital Platforms
Build AI-enabled applications using LLMs, SLMs, AI Agents, MCP, RAG, and AI workflows.
Develop secure AI-to-API integrations and contribute to the organization's Agentic AI framework.
Prototype and evaluate emerging AI technologies for commercial adoption.
Telecom & Trust Solutions
Develop solutions using telecom APIs including Number Verify, SIM Swap, eSIM, authentication, and digital identity.
Support integrations with GSMA Open Gateway, CAMARA, and TM Forum ecosystems.
Build trust-layer capabilities for enterprise and consumer digital services.
Cloud & Innovation
Develop and deploy cloud-native applications using containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and microservices.
Collaborate with DevSecOps teams on deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
Explore emerging technologies including API security, cryptographic platforms, secrets management, and quantum-safe security.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of hands on software engineering experience.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or Node.js.
Experience building APIs, backend services, cloud-native applications, and enterprise integrations.
Proven ability to take products from concept to MVP and production.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, MCP, and RAG.
Knowledge of API management platforms and telecom APIs.
Exposure to digital identity, cybersecurity, and trust platforms.
Interest in cryptographic security, secrets management, HSMs, and quantum-safe technologies.
