Our studio is building an AI anime news anchor that curates, summarizes, and streams breaking news in real time. We’re at the 0→1 stage and need an engineer who can own robust backend systems and delightful operator tools.
Responsibilities
Design and build a scalable full-stack platform (Python/TypeScript backend, React/Next.js tooling)
Implement the live “anchor” loop: news ingestion, ranking, script generation, TTS, lip-sync, and scheduling
Develop and optimize REST/WebSocket APIs, microservices, and PostgreSQL schemas
Integrate LLMs, TTS/voice, and animation triggers for persona-consistent delivery
Ensure low-latency media pipelines (ffmpeg, RTMP/WebRTC) for multi-platform streaming
Drive best practices in performance, security, observability, and CI/CD on Docker/Kubernetes
Collaborate with product/design to iterate on character style, scenes, and audience feedback
Requirements
5+ years of professional software development, with strong backend focus
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js
Experience with FastAPI/Django/Flask and modern frontend tooling
Solid grasp of REST design, microservices, and PostgreSQL data modeling
Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure, containerization, and automated pipelines
Bonus: TTS/lip-sync, VTuber/Live2D/WebRTC/ffmpeg, news feed ingestion, or safety/moderation systems
Strong problem-solving and communication skills; interest in anime/streaming is a plus
