Job Summary

Job Description

DUTIES:                               Design and develop new software and web applications using C++ and Golang in a Linux environment; work with distributed systems; process data using Big Data technologies, including Spark, Presto, and Snowflake; develop backend software for the MRM Forecasting platform; respond to real-time production MRM Forecasting P2 Escalation tickets; troubleshoot and debug software issues; support applications under development and customize current applications; assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases; analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications; document all development activity; research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports; monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products; review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects; collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements; conduct analysis to determine integration needs; and collaborate with Engineers in the UTC+8 time zone. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS:             Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software using C++ and Golang; working with distributed systems; developing backend forecasting functions for advertising platforms, including inventory forecasting, campaign performance forecasting, and A/B testing; developing software in a Linux environment; and processing data using Big Data technologies, including Spark, and Presto.

SALARY:                              $95,493.00 - $185,000.00 per year

Compensation

Base Pay: $95,493.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
