SWE-3 Qualifications:
Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an
accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and
contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or
university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar
scope, type, and complexity
OR
Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and
complexity.
Position Required Skills:
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash) to automate tasks and processes
- Experience developing software solutions using the Python programming language
- Experience implementing RBAC/ABAC for HPC systems
- Experience with advanced Linux security administration including PAM, SELinux, file
permissions, ACLs, and audit logging.
- Experience developing IAM solutions using Keycloak
- Experience implementing identity federation and SSO (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2)
- Experience developing and maintaining secret management integrations using HashiCorp
Vault
- Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning
HPC hardware and software components
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Position Desired Skills:
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
