SWDL/OTA Software Product Owner
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Owns the SWDL/OTA product backlog and release outcomes across bootloader, update client, diagnostics and platform capabilities.
- RFQ / Concept - Define product vision, use cases, scope and acceptance boundaries.
- Planning / Architecture - Build roadmap, backlog, milestones, dependencies and release criteria.
- Implementation / Integration - Prioritize execution, clarify stories and make scope decisions.
- Verification / Release - Accept end-to-end behavior and ensure release evidence is complete.
- Production / Operations - Prioritize field fixes, campaign learning and platform roadmap updates.
- Translate customer and platform objectives into epics, features and measurable acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize roadmap by customer value, regulatory need, reuse, delivery risk and capacity.
- Coordinate dependencies across cybersecurity, functional safety, diagnostics, platform, backend, validation, plant and service.
- Accept increments using end-to-end evidence including failure and recovery paths.
- Track release predictability, reuse, defect escape and deployment readiness.
Your Background
- 12+ years of Total Experience.
- Experience in Technical product ownership in automotive embedded software, diagnostics, bootloader or OTA.
- Understanding of UDS/DoIP, ECU flashing, cryptographic signing, release/configuration management and Agile delivery.
- Strong requirements, backlog, dependency and stakeholder-management skills.
