Joining our Development team, you will lead and mentor a small team of Software Developers responsible for developing our mCare product. Collaborating with the Product team and other internal stakeholders you will define requirements and deliver working software. Bringing substantial experience in software development, you will play a crucial role in guiding the team through the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
What you'll do:
- Manage a small team of software developers
- Develop both client and server-side C# components as well as contributing to maintenance of the underlying infrastructure
- Produce high quality design documentation for all software produced
- Write Unit Tests for all new/changed code, ensuring adequate code & business logic test coverage
- Develop across the entire software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Contribute to improvements in the development process
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, leading software development teams to deliver complex projects
- A good understanding of software development methodologies, processes, and best practices
- Strong technical skills, including:
- .NET C# and SQL database, stored procedures
- Front end and back end development
- TDD, BDD and Unit experience using Specflow, C# and MS Test/XUnit
- Web application development
- Experience of agile development and working across distributed teams
