Software Development Manager

Key Scope:

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of the next generation of systems to support the scalability of Rezolve’s Multi Search product.
• Collaborate with product managers, technical leaders, and other stakeholders to define the roadmap and strategy for the search platform.
• Drive the development of new search pipelines and features to improve system performance across indexing, query understanding, candidate generation, and re-ranking.

Key Success Factors:

• Improve Feature Delivery Speed: Identify and address bottlenecks in the development process to accelerate the delivery of new features.
•  Increase System Scalability and Performance: Guide the team in making architectural and design decisions that enhance the scalability and performance of the search system.
• Deliver on New Features: Ensure the timely and successful delivery of new features that improve the search system's ability to drive conversion improvements for our customers.

Expertise & Knowledge - Key Skills

• Proven experience in leading and managing software engineering teams.
• Understanding of distributed systems, search technologies and MLOps patterns
• Experience with microservice architectures and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
•   A strong technical background with experience in software development, both front-end and backend

Expertise & Knowledge - Desired

• Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as GCP and Azure.
• Experience in the e-commerce or retail technology sector.
