Job Description

About the team:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Application Development, the Manager of Application Development will lead a growing team of results-driven Tech Leads and Software Developers, to design, build, and maintain an OMS and its dependent services that meets the needs of our business and customers. 

They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, process, operations, and customer service, to ensure the OMS is scalable, reliable, and adaptable to our rapidly advancing business environment. 

The ideal candidate has the ability to see the big picture from both a technical and business perspective, leadership skills to motivate the team, and the foresight to help strategize and drive the team in delivering corporate objectives. As a key player, this role provides the opportunity to make an impact on our development and QA efforts, while influencing the product strategy and direction.

Qualifications

  • Management Experience: Strong experience leading teams to deliver complex applications in Agile methodologies.

  • Software Development Expertise: Strong experience in software development best practices, focusing on coding standards and code reviews, and in service-oriented architecture.

  • Order Management Expertise: Experience working with order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment systems, including proficiency with third-party OMS software like Kibo, Sterling Commerce, Fabric, etc.

  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of project management principles, experience with source control, build processes, and familiarity with relational/non-relational databases and web technologies.

  • Cloud and Programming Knowledge: Experience with AWS, Google Cloud or other PaaS based solutions, proficiency in various programming languages (PHP, Node.js, Java, ReactJS/React-Native, Objective-C, Swift).
