What you’ll do:
- You will join the team of Lottery Integration Architecture and in particular in the Lottery & Terminals Platform IT Factory, reporting directly to Lottery Integration Architecture Associate Manager;
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions;
- Collaborate with the Architecture team to implement their frameworks and guidelines, ensuring the correct application of business flows for different games and markets during the delivery phase;
- Formalize and assign tasks to the delivery team, ensuring clear communication and efficient execution;
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical guidelines;
- Maintain and improve the existing codebase, and review peer code changes;
- Ensure applications stability by monitoring production systems;
- Act promptly on any alert to identify and resolve issues, minimizing impact on operations.
Who you are:
- You have at least 5 years of experience as Software Engineer, with 2+ years as Tech Lead or similar role;
- Strong understanding of software architectures: Microservices, EDA, SOA, and experience with scalable, high-volume systems;
- Proficiency with Java 8/17 and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring JDBC;
- Familiarity with integration frameworks like Apache Camel or Spring Integration;
- Experience with message brokers such as Apache ActiveMQ or Apache Kafka;
- Proficiency with containers build using Docker and Kubernetes;
- Good knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
- You have expertise in secure code development;
- You are proficient in English and Italian, both spoken and written.
Preferrably, you also have:
- Stong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a technical team;
- Familiarity with Apache Karaf and OSGI framworks.
