Design and implement high-performance firewall and packet-processing modules for a virtualized/cloud environment. Own performance-critical kernel- and user-space code, prototype new technologies, and work with QA to resolve bugs.

Responsibilities
•    Design and implement scalable and high-performance Next Generation Firewall that supports Carrier-Grade NAT, intrusion prevention, antivirus and VPN in virtualization and cloud-computing environment.
•    Develop and implement fast packet processing data-plane modules for FortiGate-VM product.

•    Take ownership of performance-critical code in both kernel-space drivers and user-space applications.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$145,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.

Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's subject knowledge, skill level, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
